The California-Nevada Section of the American Water Works Association is dedicated to providing safe and reliable drinking water. Our passion is to support the drinking water professionals who provide water to millions of people throughout California and Nevada.
CA-NV AWWA offers six certification programs for drinking water professionals.

| Cross Connection Specialist Examination | A cross connection is a link or structural arrangement where potable drinking water in a pipeline can be exposed to unwanted contaminants. | Link |
| Water Quality Laboratory Analyst Certification | Laboratory Analysts conduct tests on drinking water to ensure quality and safety. | Link |
| Water Distribution Operator Certification | Controls raw water supply and treated drinking water distribution. | Link |
| Water Treatment Operator & Associate Certification | Operates, maintains and repairs a wide variety of complex machinery and equipment in a drinking water treatment plant | Link |
